The main world ranking is the Werner Ranking Ladder. It uses prize money won in ranking tournaments over a rolling two-year window. Separate lists are also tracked for the ProTour, World Series, European Tour, and Players Championship pathways.

The Prize Money Race is a separate current-year tracker. It follows season earnings, while the main rankings page handles the more important qualification lists for this build: world money, ProTour money, World Series points, European Tour money, and Players Championship money.

Seeds default to live Order of Merit money: the highest earners are seeded #1, #2, etc. A tournament organiser may manually override seedings before the draw is generated. Seeded players are placed at standard anchor positions so top seeds can only meet in the late rounds.

Yes. Empty draw slots become byes — the player they would face advances to the next round automatically. This keeps the bracket structure valid even if sign-ups don't fill.

Two outcomes are supported. A walkover means the opponent didn't show up and no games were played; the score reads "W/O". A retirement means a player started but couldn't finish; the partial score is recorded with the suffix "ret." (for example, 4-2 ret.).

Either player submits the score. The opponent then has to confirm or dispute. Disputes are reviewed by an admin, who can decide the result. Confirmed results immediately update the bracket and award ranking money for any tournament finishes.

A player earns the Format Specialist badge when they have at least 20 matches in a format, win 70%+ of them, and that format beats every other format they've played by at least 10 percentage points. The badge appears on their profile.

If a player has previously won a tournament and is signed up for the next edition, that event is flagged as a title defense on their profile. Defending champions don't get any on-court advantage — but they do get bragging rights.
